About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and mom of 3 young children, my two oldest children are now at school. I live with my husband, 2 dogs and have a large garden with chickens.
As a family we enjoy spending time outdoors in the garden, dog walks, park trips and nature walks. There are always wellies and puddle suits ready to go and explore whatever the weather.
I offer a home from home setting based in ‘The Little Barn’, an extension of my home that is designed for child-led play with direct access to the garden. I work with parents to ensure their child feels happy, secure and welcome in my setting and home. I follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework to support and promote child development through play and a range of activities. I enjoy supporting children to learn, develop their independence and confidence, and explore the world around them.
My Experience
I trained and qualified as an Adult nurse working in the NHS before starting my own family. After maternity leave with my son, I decided to retrain in Early Years and worked as an apprentice in a local nursery whilst completing my Level 3 Early Years Educator training. I have since completed my childminding training and Ofsted registration. I am currently studying for my Early Years Level 3 SENCO award

My Availability
Term time only places available.
Currently no availability to take children under 12 months of age
I can provide wraparound care for older siblings depending on availability
I currently take children from 8am - 5.30pm. I may be able to provide some flexibility with days and times, please contact me to discuss further.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
