About Us

Woodpeckers Nursery is set beside the water meadows on the edge of Sudbury in a delightful Georgian style building. Opened in 2001 we have provided a growing service to the families in and around Sudbury and the surrounding area. We have places for Babies, Toddlers, Pre School. Our staff are very experienced and very well qualified to care for the needs of your child in a secure, bright, caring and lively environment. You can visit, have settling in sessions, and be assured that in our family run nursery we will do everything to meet the needs of you and your child. We are flexible in our approach to the sessions you will need and can tailor something to your needs. Deirdre and Jeff, owners of the nursery have worked in childcare for over 50 years between them, and this knowledge and experience can be seen in the day to day running of the nursery, and our approach to the parents.

Our Fees

Our fees will vary depending on the age of your child. Generally babies are more expensive to look after as they require greater numbers of staff. Older children then become less expensive. We do however keep very high staff child ratios as this maintains a higher quality of care, which is what parents demand. please ring or call for individual quotes/details.
