My Experience

From 2024 to late 2025, I worked part-time as a teaching assistant in schools across South West London, alongside nannying roles. During this time, I developed a particular love for caring for babies and younger children and supporting them through important developmental milestones, including crawling, walking, standing and exploring their first foods through baby-led weaning. Many of these roles were ad hoc, part-time or short-term, often supporting families as their children started nursery or as parents gradually returned to work. I found being able to provide families with this flexibility especially rewarding.

My most recent nannying role with children aged five and seven has given me valuable experience with an older age group. It has taught me to adapt my approach to each child’s individual personality and interests, while balancing attentive care with encouraging confidence and independence.

Having studied design at university, I am naturally creative and enjoy bringing this into childcare through arts and crafts, imaginative play, music, library and art classes. Having grown up in Australia, I also love being outdoors and naturally incorporate active and outdoor activities into my time with children, from exploring parks and playgrounds to swimming classes. I believe these experiences encourage curiosity, confidence and independence while, most importantly, allowing children to have fun.

I have a warm and approachable personality and enjoy building positive, professional relationships with both children and their parents. I am passionate and enthusiastic about nannying, take initiative to make family life run smoothly, and take pride in being a positive and dependable presence in a child’s life.

My Qualifications

I have an Honours degree in Fashion and Textiles. I love to use my creative abilities to my advantage when caring for children of all ages.

My Availability

Available as a full time nanny, looking for around 36 hours.
