About Me

Hi there, I’m Rachel! I’m currently completing my MSc in Early Child Development and Clinical Applications at UCL and the Anna Freud Centre. I’m from South Africa and would love to help out with your little ones with some babysitting!

My Experience

I recently started working at Kids as a play worker and I au paired in the Netherlands last year which entailed living in the home of single mother and helping care for her five-year-old son. I have a keen interest in child development and also have experience working with individuals with varying intellectual and physical disabilities.

My Qualifications

I have two honours degrees, one in Medical Physiology from Stellenbosch University and the other in Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology. I also have my bachelors degree in Human Life Sciences from Stellenbosch University where I majored in psychology and physiology and minored in genetics.
