My Requirements

I am looking for an exceptional, experienced Rota Nanny to care for my 18-month-old son on a long-term basis.

The position will operate on a 14 days on / 14 days off rota, working opposite another nanny.

I am looking for someone with previous experience working within a UHNW family or similarly high-standard private household, who is comfortable working as part of a wider household team.

Routine is extremely important to me. I am looking for a nanny who is either professionally qualified or has substantial hands-on training and experience with a structured, routine-led approach to childcare. You should be confident maintaining consistent sleep, meal, activity and developmental routines and understand the importance of continuity between both rota nannies and myself.

The right person will be highly organised, proactive and exceptionally detail-oriented. I am looking for someone with a naturally Type A personality: punctual, prepared, observant, meticulous and someone who takes genuine pride in doing things properly. You should notice the small things without needing to be prompted and be excellent at communicating and handing over information.

I want someone who sees this as a collaborative role and will work closely with me to raise a happy, confident, curious and well-rounded child. I value consistency, good manners, independence, emotional security, plenty of physical activity and age-appropriate intellectual and social development.

You should genuinely enjoy planning engaging days, researching age-appropriate activities, classes and outings, encouraging development through play and reading, and creating a stimulating environment without relying on screens.

The role is childcare-focused, but I expect the nanny to take full responsibility for all child-related duties. This includes preparing and cooking healthy, varied meals for my son, his laundry, keeping his bedroom, play areas and belongings clean and exceptionally well organised, packing and unpacking for him, maintaining his wardrobe and ensuring everything relating to him is kept to a consistently high standard.

Previous rota experience is highly desirable, as is experience travelling internationally with families.

Requirements include excellent references, relevant childcare qualifications and/or substantial professional nanny training, paediatric first aid, an enhanced DBS and the right to work in the UK.
