My Experience

I have been working at PGL ( a residential camp where guests age 8-16 come on school trips/ summer holidays, and experience lots of different activities throughout their stay ) for 3 years now. During my time at PGL, I have learnt an infinite amount of new skills, and how to engage with children in a meaningful way. Not only do i want the children/guests i work with to have the most amazing/memorable trip, I am also there to guide them, keep them safe and challenge them to try new things. Throughout most of the year my Job is to really enrich their life’s, inspire them and have fun, but throughout the summer holidays we role into “kids camp” where guests come without parents, and this is a lot more responsibility because these guests are in our care. From big responsibilities such as making sure we know where they are at all times and making sure there are no issues, but also to the little things like making sure they’ve got toothbrushes. You always have to be on top form, and this is why i want to offer my services, my job is part year permanent, so i come home from my “home away” located in Weymouth, throughout the winter months. I have the ability to be serious and safe when I need to and Fun and goofy when I get the chance. If you are looking for someone who is reliable, fun, caring, supportive, on top form.
