My name is Libby and I am an enthusiastic, warm-hearted and reliable individual with a real passion for working with children. I am currently a second year student at the University of Leeds and would love to connect with some families to see how I can help!
My Experience
I have had lots of experience working with children through both paid and voluntary work.
During my first job on a farm, I led children’s birthday parties which taught me how to effectively adapt my communication to suit a younger audience.
Since then, I have completed a work experience placement in a pre-school where I thoroughly enjoyed actively engaging with the children.
I now volunteer on the paediatric wards at the LGI where I spend time with children to alleviate boredom and loneliness during their hospital stay.
I have babysat for friends and family over the years and growing up with younger siblings has given me lots of experience with all ages!
My Qualifications
I have GCSE and A-level qualifications and am currently studying for my degree at the University of Leeds.
I have a DBS check.
My Availability
As a university student, my availability is mainly in the evenings and at weekends but can sometimes include weekday hours too dependent on when my lectures are.
