As a mother of grown-up children and a grandmother to little ones living around the world, I truly miss the warmth and energy of a busy family home. My Experience
I currently provide regular childcare for several families who would be happy to be contacted for references. I have also provided occasional babysitting and holiday care for families who need flexible support.
My Qualifications
Apart from being qualified by experience, I did qualify as a registered nurse and midwife after leaving school and specialised in emergency care. I haven't worked as a nurse for a long time, but I haven't forgotten my medical training, especially first aid.
I’m in the process of registering as a Childminder with OFSTED and have completed a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid course, ensuring children’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities.
My Availability
I manage my own schedule and can offer flexibility to suit your family’s needs.
I’m available on Wednesday and Friday mornings for school runs and have some evenings free from 6:30 pm. I can also provide ad hoc full-day care during school holidays and half terms (with notice), as well as evening and weekend babysitting.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
I provide childcare as a self employed person and charge £20 per hour gross, all tax included.
