Part-time nanny / mother’s help wanted near Stroud
We’re a Dutch family living near Stroud with two little boys: James, who is 3½, and Dominic, who is nine months old. We don’t have family support nearby and, with my husband’s work being fairly demanding, we’re looking for an extra pair of hands a couple of times a week to make family life and the general workload feel a little lighter.
Because I’m still breastfeeding my baby on demand and he’s currently very attached to me, we’re initially looking for someone who would be comfortable in more of a mother’s-help role, rather than taking full sole charge straight away. We’d love to find someone who could build a relationship with Dominic and potentially grow into more of a nanny role over time, allowing me to get out of the house a little more independently.
My Requirements
We’re thinking roughly two mornings or afternoons a week. The role would be a mixture of helping with simple meal preparation, light tidying and general household organisation, spending time with Dominic while I do the school run or pop out for an errand, and generally being another calm and capable pair of hands around the house and children.
We’d love someone warm, relaxed and experienced with babies, who is happy with a responsive, child-led approach. We’re very open to discussing days and hours and finding something that works well for the right person.
