Jenny is an exceptional childminder who truly cares providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment!
We feel incredibly lucky to have found Jenny! From the very beginning, she has provided a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for our daughter, who has been going since she turned 1 year old. Every day, she comes home happy, calm, and full of energy, and it’s clear she feels secure and loved while in Jenny’s care.
Jenny is kind, patient, and truly passionate about working with little ones. She supports each child’s development in such a thoughtful and age-appropriate way with several activities during the week, including but not limited to vocabulary, painting, fine motor coordination skills, dancing, etc, and they even lean a bit of Spanish. At the end of the month she gives us the drawings and paintings from these activities. She regularly changes the theme of the activities every week or couple of weeks, which keeps things fresh and engaging, and she also does a lot of wonderful sensory play with sand, play dough, and water.
Jenny makes the most of her big garden too, where the children can play, explore, enjoy sensory activities, and even take part in planting and harvesting tomatoes and strawberries. During warm weather and summer months, her garden is an amazing place to be and a great added bonus to the children’s development.
On top of this, Jenny has also been supporting us with potty training, which we really appreciate.
We’ve noticed real progress in our daughter’s confidence, independence, and even her early speech - she’s been repeating words and sounds more and more and we know that’s is also thanks to the stimulating and encouraging environment Jenny creates.
Communication has also been wonderful. Jenny always keeps us updated with how our daughter’s day has gone, and the photos and little moments she shares mean the world to us.
It’s such a comfort knowing our daughter is in such caring and capable hands. We’re so grateful for the love and attention Jenny gives her every day.
