About Me
I have worked in childcare for almost 10 years, primarily within nursery settings, mainly with children aged 2–3 years. During this time, I have cared for children with a wide range of needs. I have a strong interest in SEN and have regularly supported the SENCO to ensure children with additional needs receive the highest level of care. I also hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate.
I truly believe children learn best through play, whether this is adult-led or child-led. I feel it is vital that children are fully supported in understanding their emotions and are gently guided in regulating them when needed. It’s about learning how best to support the child, rather than expecting the child to fit into the modern world around them.
I am also happy to help with school runs, meal preparation, light household tasks, and maintaining consistent routines for the child or children. I am hardworking, calm, always willing to learn, and I will always be one of your child’s biggest supporters.
