About Me
Hi I'm Isobel! I am an experienced nanny & a fully qualified maternity nurse with over 10 years experience in childcare. I am a patient, caring and compassionate nanny/maternity nurse. I am very comfortable and confident with newborns, young babies and twins with extensive knowledge from working in a nursery and previous nanny roles.
My Experience
I have worked with children from birth to 6 years old. My experience started in a nursery for 3 years, with a break in between whilst attending university, where I then went on to become a nanny. I then went on to do my maternity nurse qualification. I have always had a passion and patience for babies, as well as having a calm nature it felt like this was perfect in becoming a newborn specialist. I have done a mixture of nannying, as well as maternity nursing, night nannying and babysitting. I have also had experience working with twins and numerous newborn babies. I have also worked as a travel nanny, looking after babies and toddlers. I am always looking for ways to extend my knowledge and experience in my field to give the best care and experience I can for families. I have just enrolled onto a 95+ lactation course where I hope to offer even more extensive breastfeeding support.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Marine & Natural History Photography & a MA in Film and Television. I completed my level 4 Postnatal Maternity Nurse Care along with baby massage workshop. I have an Enhanced DBS Check and I am fully trained in Pediatric First Aid, a qualification which I renew every 3 years. I have a full driving license with my own car and business insurance. Some extra qualifications I have is, The Birth Trauma Training program, understanding infant tongue-tie and epilepsy awareness.
My Availability
I will have availability from October 2026 on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s (for night care), Thursday’s and Friday’s. Either for day time nanny care, night nannying or Maternity Nursing.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Nannying from £20.00 per hour (Self Employed)
Babysitting from £18.00 per hour.
