About Me
I have recently completed my BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a particular interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Alongside my degree, I have gained valuable experience working with multiple SEND respite providers, supporting children with a wide range of additional needs in both one-to-one and group settings.
I have experience caring for children from 6 months to 12 years old and am confident in providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests. My university placements and childcare experience have enabled me to develop excellent communication, behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
I hold a full UK driving licence and an Enhanced DBS certificate and am confident using Makaton to support communication where appropriate. I am patient, caring, reliable and organised, and I enjoy planning fun, educational activities that help children learn and develop while ensuring they feel happy, safe and supported.
I am available for afternoon, evening and weekend childcare and am happy to assist with homework, bedtime routines, meal preparation, school pick-ups and drop-offs, and age-appropriate activities.
