About Me
Hello! I’m Sumaya, 24 years old from Nottingham:)
I am passionate about helping children feel supported and seen whilst creating a happy and open environment for children and their parent/carer.
I always try and create a fun and nurturing atmosphere whether that is through play or stories. I am a creative and playful individual especially due to being the eldest of 6 i have a broad sense of imagination and making children feel heard.
In my free time i love reading, spending time in nature and making memories with friends and family. I am a positive, easy going person who makes everyday count!
My Experience
I am level 3 qualified nursery practitioner. Worked in a private day nursery for a little over a year , caring for children aged 0-4 years old but was later on designated in the preschool room. Including a 1 year placement experience alongside my sixth form. I move between each room and age group with ease creating meaningful bonds with the children.
The children often invite me to join their play each day due to my ability to engage with them and my childlike sense of fun and big imagination whilst maintaining an appropriate relationship.
Even if i haven’t been in a certain room for a few weeks i am always greeted with big smiles and hugs which remind me how rewarding childcare is to me!
I am now looking to expand my career through nanny and babysitting roles, that fits well around my studies whilst continuing what i love doing!

Early years level 3
Health and social care level 2
First aid certified
Food allergy certified
Currently working towards my undergraduate degree in combined stem with the Open University.

Available for full time and part time work.
