Leah
Nanny in London (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m a Level 6 qualified childcare professional with nine years of experience across a variety of different areas—from traditional nurseries and outdoor forest schools to working as a ski nanny and on cruise ships.
I am a huge advocate for the child-led approach, as I believe little ones learn best when they are free to explore and engage in activities based on their own interests at their own pace. I’m a highly creative person, so I love setting up sensory-rich and imaginative play for children to get lost in. Thanks to my forest school background, I'm also a massive believer in being outdoors—you can definitely expect lots of fresh air, nature walks, and adventures in the local area when I'm around!
Because I've held roles like Room Lead and Head Nanny, I’m confident managing daily routines, organising day-to-day schedules, and making in-the-moment decisions independently. I am hugely passionate about working closely and actively communicating with parents to make sure your children feel happy, safe, and comfortable, and that the whole family's wants and needs are respected.
My Experience
My primary experience and expertise lies with children from the age of 1-5 years due to my extensive background in early years and nursery settings. I am also highly comfortable working with children from around 6 months and have had employment caring for children up to the age of 12, so I am highly open to households with children spanning across different ages ranges.
I have plenty of hands-on experience supporting children with SEN and 1:1 needs, ranging from ADHD and autism to visual, hearing, and language impairments.
My Qualifications
I have a Degree in Early Years Childhood Education and Care as well as relevant training in First Aid and working with children with specific requirements and needs. Fully trained in First Aid and Safeguarding.
My Availability
Looking to transition into a nanny role from the beginning of January 2027, although there flexibility warranting it works with my Christmas holiday and current work resignation obligations.
Am highly flexible regarding working hours and days. As long as the role is right, I'm open to accommodating what is needed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
