I have recently graduated with distinction from an MA TESOL at the University of Essex and am passionate about teaching English and helping children learn with confidence.
I am responsible, caring, and committed to creating fun, supportive lessons tailored to each learner’s needs. I can also support primary-level Maths. I also have babysitting experience, ensuring children are safe, well cared for, and engaged in positive, age-appropriate activities.
My Experience
I have over six years of experience teaching English to children and teenagers of different ages and levels. I have worked in both classrooms and one-to-one settings, delivering tailored lessons in general English, primary Maths and supporting students with additional needs such as ADHD.
I also have hands-on babysitting experience, providing safe, caring, and structured support for children, including managing routines, encouraging positive behaviour, and engaging them in creative and educational activities.
My approach is always supportive and student-focused, aiming to build confidence, encourage participation and adapt lessons to each child’s individual learning style and pace.

Thao is the most patient person I know, Thao is enthusiastic, and sweet with my baby - she cries when Thao leaves because of the special bond they’ve created. We felt very comfortable leaving our baby with her, and hope to keep her in our lives for a long time as my baby loves her! She was excellent. Very warm and set our hearts at ease the minute she walked in the door.
