My Experience

I have over 5 years of experience in nursery settings, where I have worked as a key worker for preschool children (ages 3-5). I am well-practised in creating a range of fun and engaging activities which provide children with opportunities to explore the world, their interests, and their ideas. I love to support children in their individual development, be it social skills, physical ability, emotional regulation, literacy progress, and more. It's such a joy to be part of a young child's growth journey.

I have also worked as a supply worker in baby and toddler rooms, with the children aged 0-3 in a nursery setting. I am well-skilled in all the practical aspects of childcare - soothing tears, supporting meal times, easing little ones to sleep, nappies / toilet training, singing and playing games. I always work to ensure that little ones feel safe, secure, and valued.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified early years practitioner, with an SVQ in Social Studies (Children and Young People) SCQF level 7. This is the Scottish equivalent to an English Level 3 Childcare NVQ, and it is recognised across the UK.

I am Paediatric First Aid trained, and I also have training in Allergen Awareness, Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2, Child Protection, and Safeguarding.

My Availability

I have a flexible schedule and I am looking to work on an ad hoc babysitting basis, although I am also open to a regular nanny schedule. I'm happy to work out a personalised plan with you.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My fees reflect my qualifications and experience - however, I am willing to negotiate my fees for a family who is a perfect fit.
