About Me
Our family is Chloe and Ata (the parents) and our twin babies Emily and Alexander. We live in Altrincham, close to Stamford Park. I have a corporate career in HR and Ata is a surgeon.
Emmy and Alex are currently 16 weeks and we’re looking for a nanny from when they’re around one year old. Emmy has a naturally sunny disposition and is full of smiles and laughter. She’s an energetic little lady and loves to kick and grab her toys. She loves any interaction and will chat and play for hours. Alexander is more serious and enjoys studying his black and white books and observing the light and shade under the trees in the park. Like Emmy, he loves to chat and it’s the easiest way to get a smile from him.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a nanny to work 35 hours per week over 4 days and are offering a salary of £25,000 + pension contributions and 30 days of paid annual leave including bank holidays. We’d also consider a nanny available for slightly fewer hours if it’s a good fit.
This will involve 3 days of sole charge, to include developmentally appropriate activities and one day of shared care. The nanny will be responsible for all child-related tasks including maintaining the nursery, children’s wardrobe, toys & equipment, meals, managing appointments etc. as well as some light housekeeping and cooking family meals. Dedicated time for this will be built into the role.
We take a gentle parenting approach and would like to find a nanny who is warm and nurturing and looking for a long-term position to support a close bond and consistency for the children. We’d like a nanny with some knowledge of Montessori in order to build their confidence and independence. We’d ideally like a nanny with relevant childcare qualifications however this isn’t essential if the nanny has knowledge of early years milestones and development. A good parenting style fit is the most important thing for us.
Monday:
This day will be shared care while Chloe is off work and is primarily to prepare for the days when you have sole charge of the children and take care of wider nanny duties so you can focus as fully as possible on the children during the days when you have sole charge.
