Susanna
Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
I am a passionate, energetic, and adaptable educator with nearly a decade of experience in childcare. My practice is deeply rooted in a strong academic foundation, holding a BSc in Childhood Studies (0–3 years) and an MSc in Pedagogical Sciences. I specialize in creating nurturing, stimulating environments where children thrive. By thoughtfully integrating the Reggio Emilia approach, Montessori method, and Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, I design creative, play-based learning experiences tailored to each child's unique developmental needs. Currently, I work as a nanny share during the day (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM), so I am fully available for evening babysitting and proxy parenting every day of the week.
My Experience
As a nanny, I have supported children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, including those with neurodivergent needs as well as physical and intellectual disabilities. I have successfully managed daily routines, educational activities, and emotional challenges, tailoring my approach to foster their development and well-being. My theatrical background, including directing and performing for young audiences, has enhanced my ability to connect with children, foster creativity, and adapt to their needs.
Additionally, my work as a nursery teacher, where I implemented Gardner, Montessori, and Reggio Children methodologies, has honed my skills in supporting developmental milestones and encouraging curiosity through tailored, meaningful learning experiences.
