About Me
Hi, I’m Eileen! I live in Northwood with my husband and our three children. I’m a qualified primary school teacher and SENCo with over 10 years of classroom experience - and now an Ofsted registered childminder.
I offer a safe, nurturing and home-from-home environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and have fun. My setting is rooted in outdoor play, hands-on learning, and a deep belief in the benefits of fresh air and nature for children’s physical and emotional development.
We go on regular trips to local parks, woods, libraries and community groups, giving children the chance to build confidence, curiosity and a love of the world around them. Whether it’s splashing in puddles, hunting for bugs, or climbing at the playground, every day brings a new adventure.
With my background in education and special needs, I tailor care and learning to each child—helping them grow in confidence and reach their potential through play and exploration.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with 10 years of classroom experience. As a member of the school senior leadership team, I played a key role in overseeing the school’s special educational needs provision. I also hold a master’s degree in education, with a particular passion for phonics and inspiring a love of reading in young children.
