About Me
Hello, My name is Abbigail Sullivan i am 24 years old and have been working in childcare for 5 years now and i have my level 3 qualification.
I am very passionate about working with children usually around the ages from 5 months to 5years old.
I have a current DBS and my first aid training, and all other relevant Training such as safe sleep training and food preparation, and i have done my level one makaton training to help further my passion and career.
I am friendly and loving; and very compassionate, love getting creative and encouraging imagination play.
I would love to be considered to help care for your family, avaliable for evenings on the weekdays and all day weekends.
My Experience
I have several years of experience working in childcare, including extensive experience caring for babies and young children. I currently work as a Room Leader in a nursery, where I have gained experience supporting children’s development, planning activities, maintaining routines and working closely with parents. I particularly enjoy working with babies and have experience with feeding, nappy changes, settling and sleep routines, weaning, sensory play and providing lots of nurturing one-to-one care. I am confident caring for children of different ages and always aim to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children feel secure, supported and encouraged to learn and develop.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare and have completed relevant training in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene and supporting children’s health, safety and development. Through my experience working in nurseries, I have developed a strong understanding of the EYFS and the importance of providing age-appropriate care, supporting children’s individual needs and creating a safe and nurturing environment. I am also committed to continuing my professional development and keeping my childcare knowledge and training up to date.
My Availability
I am currently looking for a full-time nanny position, Monday to Friday, and would love to find a long-term family that I can build a strong relationship with. I am available throughout the week and am happy to work around the family’s routine and childcare needs. I am flexible with start and finish times where possible and can also offer occasional weekend childcare when needed. I am happy to travel with the family and would be comfortable doing the occasional overnight if required. I am particularly interested in working with babies and young children and would love the opportunity to become a trusted and reliable part of a family’s everyday life.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
