About Me

I am looking for a part time job helping look after your child/children. I have been on placements where I have been a Teaching Assistant in an Early Years setting such as a nursery or preschool, working with children 0-5 years old. Within the placement I have developed knowledge on how children behave and have gained confidence in how to help lead activities, whether that be cooking, play, teaching, helping them with basic skills and more. I would love to help children learn more during their early years so they can take that into school with them.

My Experience

I have grown up with a sibling who has Special Educational Needs and have worked along side those who have some extra needs too. I am good at making sure they get the extra bit of help, such as developing their fine motor skills or helping them with social skills and helping make friends.
I have also volunteered at a dance school helping out with children ranging from 2 - 10 years old which gives me a range of skills and knowledge that I have developed over the years on how to change the way I act according to the age of the child.
I have done two placements surrounding children aged 0-5.

My Qualifications

I have my GCSEs, A-Levels and will get an Early Years Educator qualification in the summer of 2025. I also have a Paediatric First Aid qualification, so I am prepared just in case something happens.
As of the summer 2026 I will have a qualification in Early Years Education

My Availability

I work in a hotel in the day time - on a 0 hour contract meaning my days vary, however it is only in the mornings and I am able to change my days if and when needed to fit your needs.
