My Experience

The freedom that came with this is just fantastic, every day is different and all the crazy fun adventure you can have. A real 1-1 bond is created so quickly. Sadly the family I was with have since relocated which means I am available to help another family (should our values match up and the child/ren are happy) I love to watch children reach their goals no matter how big or small, creating that safe space for them to flourish and grow. Being outside exploring/going on adventures is what it’s all about! Rainy days are spent splashing in puddles and having fun. Not only having the strong bond with the child but also their careers. I have not been in the nursery setting for two years but I still have very strong bonds with children and parents I used to look after.

I have experience with non-verbal children, using BSL and visual cards to support their communication. Working closely with parents and other care providers to support further.
I care for a set of twins who I have looked after since they were two, they’re now six years old and it’s fantastic to see how much they’ve grown and our family bond is wonderful.

My Qualifications

I hold a level 3 childcare qualification
Food and hygiene level 2
Playing and exploring qualification
Five years in a nursery, two of those I was the room leader of the 2-3s room and I also lead the baby room for a period of time before venturing off to become a nanny.

My Availability

I’m available Tuesdays, Thursdays and possibly Fridays also. Any questions please feel free to send them over

• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

I was previously employed through a company called NannyTax, I would prefer to be employed instead of self employed.
