About Me

I live in Chichester and work as a private tutor, teaching maths and English to children up to 11yrs.

My Experience

I am an experienced primary school teacher who has worked in state and independent schools for over 20 years, in both key stages. I now work as a private tutor, in-person, in my pupils' homes. I have received excellent feedback from all of my families because my pupils have: grown in confidence, filled in gaps in their knowledge, improved their standardised scores, moved up maths sets, gained academic scholarships. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, which is on the update service. I also work for Elite Tutors of Sussex, but most of my work comes from word of mouth and recommendation.

My Qualifications

BA Business Administration and Public Relations (Newcastle Poly)
PGCE Primary, University of West of England (Bristol)

My Availability

My availability changes but I teach Monday to Thursday after school, and Saturday morning. I also work throughout the school holidays if this is required. Please contact me to discuss my availability as I do have some flexibility on timings and days. I have spaces on Monday evening, Tuesday and Thursday after school, and holiday periods (as at Feb '26).
