I’m a registered Childminder based in Bishopbriggs and have been caring for children since 1996. With nearly 30 years of experience, I’m passionate about providing a safe, loving, and stimulating home-from-home environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. I’m a vibrant, bubbly person who genuinely loves her job, and I take great pride in building warm, trusting relationships with both children and families.
I believe in creating a home-from-home environment where children feel secure, valued, and free to explore the world around them through play and gentle guidance. My approach is child-centred, nurturing curiosity, confidence, and independence at every stage.
My setting includes a spacious playroom, a secure garden for outdoor fun, and a wide range of toys, books, and learning resources to support development across all ages. We enjoy a variety of activities—from arts and crafts to baking, story time, and outdoor adventures—as well as regular outings to local parks and toddler groups.
I’m committed to high standards of care and regularly update my training in First Aid, Child Protection, and Food Hygiene. In my most recent Care Inspectorate inspection, I was proud to be awarded a Grade 5, recognising the quality and consistency of my service.
I’m also a proud mum to two grown daughters, and my husband Kenny and I have built a warm, welcoming home where every child is treated with care, respect, and lots of laughter.
I understand how important it is to find the right person to care for your child, and I’m always happy to chat, answer questions, or arrange a visit so you can get a feel for my setting. My goal is to make every child feel safe, happy, and at home—and to give parents peace of mind knowing their little one is well cared for. I look forward to welcoming you and your family!
My Experience
I’ve been a registered childminder since 1996, supporting families and caring for children across multiple generations. Over the years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of child development, routines, and the importance of creating a safe, loving space where children can grow in confidence and happiness.
My Qualifications
I’ve completed all the necessary training to meet Care Inspectorate standards, including First Aid, Child Protection, and Food Hygiene. I also keep up to date with new guidelines and ideas through regular training—because there’s always more to learn when it comes to giving children the best care possible.
