About Me

My name is Nicola Hoggins and I am an Ofsted-registered childminder, proudly graded Outstanding at my most recent inspection in September 2024.
I live in East Ardsley with my husband, Simon, and our two older children, in a welcoming four-bedroom family home with a secure, enclosed rear garden. I offer families a flexible, reliable childcare service, providing a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe and secure from the moment they arrive.
I understand that the early years are a vital stage in a child’s development. I therefore provide a broad range of engaging activities and work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to support each child’s learning and development at their own pace.
My ethos is centred around creating a warm, stimulating and joyful environment, where children build confidence, curiosity and independence. I believe that happy children learn best, and I strive to ensure that every child takes away positive, lasting memories from their time with us, laying strong foundations for their future.
My curriculum places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, using the natural environment to inspire exploration, creativity and learning across all areas of development. We truly do have lots of fun together, which I believe is at the heart of a successful and meaningful early years experience.
