About Me
Hi, my name is Myrna and I provide a friendly, caring and stimulating home environment where your children feel at home, happy and safe. I am also very flexible
We love being outdoors, we do nature walks along the river Crane, we visit different parks and playgrounds: Kneller Gardens, Murray Playground, Marble Hill Park, Twickenham Riverside, Local Play-groups, Music groups, Library, etc. I plan activities and provide many resources at home to support your children's learning according to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. I provide healthy home made meals.
I also enjoy teaching some basic Spanish, we usually learn numbers, colours, etc. giving the opportunity to your children to discover another language.
I was rated Good by Ofsted from last inspection. Funded hours and tax free childcare available.
My Experience
I have got 15 years experience as a Registered Childminder. I also had some experience working at the Play and Stay sessions at different Children’s Centres.
I hold a level 3 qualification in Early Years and I have been working with a childminding assistant for the last few years, which give your baby/child extra personal attention.
My Qualifications
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare
Paediatric First Aid Certificate,
Child Protection Awareness
Member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY)
Making the most of Outdoor Play (Bees, Trees and Dirty Knees)
My Availability
From Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 6:00 p.m.
I can offer you "Full Time", "Part-Time" or "Term Time Only" contracts.
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Funded hours and tax free childcare available. You only pay additional hours after funding, not extra charges for under 3 years old.
Please note that my fees will vary depending on the hours that you require
£9 for 30 hours week (healthy meals/ snacks included and entrance to playgroups)
£9.50 for less than 30 hours week (healthy meals/ snacks included and entrance to playgroups)

I have 2 small children and have looked round countless nursery and childminder settings. I also go with my gut feeling and from the moment I stepped in to Myrna's home and saw Myrna smiling at the door I thought, this is the place for our little ones! Myrna is so unbelievably caring and it really feels like the girls second home. I was recommended to come to Myrna when I attended a playgroup at the Salvation Army by one of the Mums- I am so lucky I found her. The children have such varied weeks- park visits, soft play, the library, local playgroups etc plus Myrna lovingly home cooks for them each day. Don't think twice about visiting, she's amazing and my girls are so so happy there!!

Myrna looked after my children when they were babies and they absolutely loved it, she is amazing. She offers a lovely, warm home-from-home childcare setting.

Mirna looked after our kids for nearly 4 years. She is a lovely person as well as being very warm and loving childminder. She really cares about the children both on a development level and also keeping children entertained with daily activities ranging from arts and crafts, music group and different parks.
