I brought my 10months old son to this childminder, and the experience for the past 2 days, before I withdrew him and requested a refund was toxic & terrible!. Each day my son comes here, I will draft his care plan & send to her, she won’t read it, I will request for pictures of my son while in her custody, she will send me 2 face shots, and tell me she is busy! and thats it for the day!. I am self funded, I ensured I pay her childminding fee upfront , irrespective she treated my son with so much indifference & neglect. I felt the sadness and moodiness in him whenever I come to pick him up. On 4 occasions(4 naps), in a room with little aeration, she kept my son to sleep, my son was wearing a thick jumper top and bottom, the weather was hot, I requested she change him to a short sleeve vest, when it gets hot, she ignored my request on both days, and instead covered my son a very thick blanket while he slept on top of the thick jumper, she overheated my 10 month old son! On the 2nd day, for the first time since he was born, he fell sick, with fever symptoms & high temp, which landed us by 9pm at Croydon hospital children A&E dept, he also contacted infection from her environment. I requested from the day I visited the facility till my son fell sick to see the bed where she keeps him to nap, she kept giving flimsy excuses, ignoring my request, until he landed in A&E, out of fear, she now sent pictures, when I tried to complain to her, instead of being accountable and assuring me of a change, she sounded dismissive, very scared I will escalate the issue, I immediately withdrew my son! a very toxic person who does not render care to babies/children, with their best interest at heart! coupled with the fact she lacked some key requirements in her facility, & breaches Ofsted regulations, which you will see for yourself. If you try to use this childminder, be very vigilant of your child and consistently monitor their wellbeing!.
