Hi! I’m Lucy, a passionate and caring childminder dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and fun environment for children to thrive. With over 10 years of experience working with young children, I offer a home away from home where your little ones can explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
I provide age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, and hands-on learning experiences, tailored to each child’s interests and developmental needs. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where children feel comfortable and excited to spend their day.
As a childminder, I prioritise safety and well-being above all else. You can rest assured knowing that your child(ren) will be in a secure, loving environment with plenty of opportunities to socialise, build new skills and above all else, have fun!

My Experience
With over 10 years experience in childcare, I have developed a strong understanding of child development and the diverse needs of children. I hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in childcare, ensuring I have a solid foundation of professional knowledge and skills to support young children. In addition to this, I am first aid qualified, which equips me to handle emergencies confidently and responsibly.
Outside of my professional, I’m also a mother to my 6 year old son. This experience has further deepened my empathy and understanding of the challenges and milestones children face as they grow and transition into new stages of life. I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my childcare approach, always prioritising the wellbeing and development of the children in my care.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 in childcare -
This qualification demonstrates competency in providing high quality care and education to children. It focuses on developing skills in supporting children’s learning and development, safeguarding, and creating a safe and stimulating environment. It also covers areas like supporting children’s health and wellbeing, working effectively with colleagues, and communicating with parents.
