ABOUT ME
I'm Italian, born and raised in Milan with Sicilian roots, and I've been living in Brook Green for the past year, after 7+ years in Hackney/Shoreditch where I've looked after a large group of Italian children attending the same school. I cycle everywhere (I own two bikes!), which makes commuting around West London easy and reliable.
My professional background was originally in Branding & Marketing, but after returning to childcare a few years ago I realised early childhood education is where my passion truly lies. I'm currently studying towards a professional qualification in Child Education while continuing to work with children.
From September, I'll be working a couple of mornings each week in a preschool classroom, so I'm looking for an afterschool position, ideally starting around 12pm, or a role offering 30+ hours per week. I'm also happy to cover morning school drop-offs (minimum 2 hours per booking) and occasional weekend or extra hours.

My practice is inspired by Montessori principles while remaining flexible. Every child is different, so I adapt my approach to their personality, temperament and developmental stage.
MY APPROACH
My childcare philosophy combines Positive Psychology, Attachment Theory and Montessori principles.
I believe children flourish when they feel emotionally safe, respected and understood. I focus on building secure attachment through consistency, warmth and clear boundaries.

I never dismiss children's emotions or use fear-based discipline. Instead, I explain what is happening honestly, encourage independence and help children build confidence by allowing them to succeed through age-appropriate challenges.
I'm particularly passionate about arts & crafts, sensory activities and developing fine motor skills through creative play.
HOME SUPPORT
I genuinely enjoy running an organised household around the children's needs.
I cook everything from scratch using fresh ingredients, enjoy batch cooking and always like to stay on top of what's available in the fridge and cupboards. I'm comfortable planning meals, reducing waste and keeping food budgets organised.
RATES
£20-25/hour – Depending on the role and language
NON-NEGOTIABLES
Child-related duties only (I always clean up after the children and myself)
Additional children from another family: +£5/hour
I need 2 hours minimum for a booking eg morning drop offs and babysitting nights
If a booking finishes after 11pm and I don't have my bike, I kindly ask for transport home (Uber).
