STUDIES:

Currently completing a “Montessori in the Home” certification (autumn term)?My approach is inspired by Montessori but flexible — I pick and choose from different educational methods depending on each child’s personality and stage
Starting an online, self-paced Master’s in Child Education (0–8 years) in January 2025?Focus on baby and toddler development (0–3 years)
My long-term goal is to build a business helping children develop their fine skills — supporting their growth through mindful and playful education.

APPROACH:

My childcare approach is grounded in what I’ve studied at uni for Positive Psychology and Attachment Style:?My aim is to nurture the child to let them grow into a thriving, self-confident adult.?This means I create routines and guidelines that preserve their secure attachment style, ensuring it doesn’t develop into avoidant or anxious patterns.
I believe children learn through action and example. I focus on engagement through words of affirmation, facial expression, and quality time. I help them understand both practical and emotional skills — from scooping food with a spoon to expressing emotions.?I value honesty and trust: I never lie to a child and always explain what’s happening, such as when a parent is working in another room. At the same time, I establish clear boundaries to maintain their safety and security.

HANDOVERS:

For first handovers, my trick is music. I always have maracas with me, and if you have more instruments, they might be helpful too. Music is the most engaging activity without the need for screens, and it allows me to redirect the child’s mood while still addressing where the parents are and explaining what we are about to do next — usually, playing together.

Looking for a part-time position (three full days per week) as a self-employed nanny, so I can dedicate time to my studies alongside work.

?I enjoy interior design- I grew up in the Architecture press in Milan - and occasionally manage an Airbnbs.
?My background is in Branding and Marketing for food companies.
When I’d made redundant, it was a blessing in disguise.
While freelancing in Social Media and juggling children back again, I found my real purpose in child education and development.
Understanding early development feels like a lifelong quest.?

I’m a calm and grounded person -a super home body!- who enjoys flower markets, brunches, and art galleries more than nightlife.

RATES:
20 £/h for 1st sit
25 £/h for recurring sits
30 £/h for Baby/Toddler Twins
15 £/h for babysitting nights starting at 6 pm?

NON NEGOTIABLE:
-No housekeeping chores, I clean after the child and myself
-Extra children from another family come for +£5
-If the sits ends later than 11 pm, and I don’t have my bike with me, I’d appreciate to have an Uber to go back home ??
