Hi, I’m Katie, a friendly and caring childminder who provides a safe, happy and nurturing home-from-home environment for children.
I offer a variety of fun, play-based activities that support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, including creative play, outdoor activities and opportunities to explore and grow. I believe every child is unique and work closely with parents to support each child’s individual needs, interests and routines.
My aim is to create a warm and welcoming setting where children feel safe, valued and happy while learning through play.
During the week we attend different playgroups so that your child can interact with other children, exploring new friendships and also learning/building new social skills.

I have 20+ years experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 in early years care and education
Paediatric first aid
NCFE level 2 in support work in schools
Safeguarding children and designated lead
Developing children's learning
Understanding and working with the EYFS
Recording children's development
Leading and managing a childminding setting
