My Requirements

Hello! We’re a family of four with two girls, aged 3 and 5, looking for a caring, reliable, registered childminder, babysitter or nanny to help look after our youngest daughter from late October 2026.

Our youngest will be moving to a nursery on York Road, close to the school her older sister has recently started attending. We would love to find someone who could become a familiar, trusted part of our girls’ lives over the coming years.

What we’re looking for:

* Term time: Monday to Thursday, collecting our youngest from nursery at approximately 3:45pm and caring for her until 6pm. On some days we would also like our older daughter to be collected from the school across the road (she finishes at 3.15pm, so you’d collect her first, then our other daughter).
* Flexibility: We can be flexible with collection and finishing times to fit around your existing arrangements. Some days we may be back from work earlier.
* Collection: Walking collection would be our preference, but we could also give access to a car and we’re happy to discuss arrangements that fit your existing school or nursery pick-up routine.
* School holidays: Ideally, we’d also love someone who could offer some full-day care during the summer, Easter and half-term holidays for both children.

Looking ahead

We’re hoping to find a long-term arrangement rather than just childcare for the next couple of years.

When our youngest starts school in approximately two years, we would ideally like to continue with after-school care for her and her older sister too. We’re expecting our youngest to attend Sandfield Primary School, so someone who already collects from Sandfield, or would be happy to do so in the future, would be particularly well suited.

We would also hope to continue using the same childcare for school holiday care as the girls grow up.
