My Summary
Part Time Nanny And Artist
About Me
Hi! I'm a warm, nurturing and creative mum based in Twickenham, and I'm looking for part-time nanny work in the local area.
Being a mum to my own five-year-old daughter is the most important thing in my life, and it's given me a genuine, hands-on understanding of what children need to truly thrive — not just to be safe and looked after, but to feel loved, stimulated and confident. I bring that same care and attentiveness to every child I work with.
Alongside being a mum, I work as a pencil artist, which means creativity is at the heart of how I see the world. I love bringing that into time spent with children, whether that's drawing together, making up stories, exploring nature, or simply encouraging little ones to express themselves in their own unique way. In my experience, children light up when given the space and encouragement to be creative.
I am kind, patient and reliable, and I understand that inviting someone into your home to care for your child is an enormous decision. My priority is always to make both you and your child feel completely at ease, to communicate openly, and to provide consistent, loving care that gives you genuine peace of mind.
My Experience
My everyday experience is being a mum myself to my five-year-old daughter. I bring everything that experience brings- calm under pressure, a nurturing instinct, and a deep understanding of what children need at different stages. Most recently I have nannied for three families, each one different and each one teaching me something new. I understand the importance of adapting to a family's individual routines, values and needs, and I take pride in building genuine, trusting relationships with the children and with the parent. I hold a current DBS certificate and valid First Aid training, so you can have complete confidence in my suitability and preparedness.
I am the eldest of seven siblings, which means I've been a natural carer from a young age, helping to look after, entertain and support younger children has simply always been part of who I am. That upbringing gave me a patience and instinct around children that no formal training can fully replicate.
During my Drama degree at the University of Exeter, I taught theatre to a local primary school, which gave me a wonderful insight into how children learn, build confidence, and express themselves through play and storytelling. I've carried that approach with me ever since.
In my mid-twenties I spent several months teaching at a school in Bali, an experience that broadened my understanding of how children develop across different environments and reinforced my love of working with children.
