About Me

Hello my name is Shannon! I am 29 years old and have over 10 years experience working with children of all ages, including those with special educational needs. I consider myself an outgoing and enthusiastic person which I believe to be important when it comes to childminding, planning activities and making sure children are developing as individuals. I am a qualified teacher and have worked in Liverpool for the past 6 years in a special educational needs school, teaching pupils with a range of needs. Previous to this, I worked in a creche for 3 years, with children aged 11months - 12 years old. Throughout summer holidays and term time I have childminded and completed school runs for families. I have my own car with a full license which I have had for 10 years. I love being outdoors and creating fun activities for the children to do, whether this is arts and crafts/puzzles/music or sport. I am looking for a few extra hours through the week, after work, during the afternoon/evening time or weekends. I can work from 4:00/4:30pm until 6:30pm, sometimes onwards most days and I can do pick ups. Please get in touch to check evening hours and days, as I may be flexible.
