About Me
The Willows ChildCare provides childcare for children ages 1 - 5 on a daily basis from 8am to 5pm Monday to Wednesday.
Your toddler or preschooler will be given the opportunity to learn and develop through age appropriate : arts &crafts, animal care, food prep and baking, physical challenge, exploring the natural world, gardening outside and in the polytunnel, Yoga, music and movement, stories and songs in a nurturing and stimulating environment with plenty of time to learn through structured and child led play.
I promote kindness and respect for the environment and each other, independence, curiosity and fun. There is a strong emphasis on learning outdoors in all seasons.
This is a screen free environment encouraging a love of the outdoors, books, music, conversation and connection with others.
I have age appropriate safe sleeping areas for those who need their little oases of calm and quiet in their day.
There is a sleepy cat and free range hens on site. There is a bouncy child friendly cocker spaniel.
All meals and snacks are prepared on the premises with attention to a varied and healthy diet.
Suitable outdoor clothing is supplied by The Willows ChildCare.
This setting is suitable for who are independently mobile i.e from around 18 +months to 5 years and who love to be outside whatever the weather.
My Experience
I am an energetic retired medic who has always had a special interest in early childhood development and education. I live with my daughter who is in her 20s in a beautiful village just outside Beccles with a large house and garden. My 4 daughters were raised in New Zealand with a outdoor focused childhood.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered and have training in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Level 3 Safeguarding, am DBS checked and have undertaken the Department of Education training for the Early Years.
My Availability
I am available 48 weeks of the year Monday to Thursday 7.45 - 4.45pm. Full days only.
No school pick ups or drop offs.
I am closed Bank Holidays, Christmas and Easter weeks and for 2 weeks in the summer. Enquiries welcome.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Funded places are available for all children ages 9 months to 4 years according to Government criteria. I am able to offer stretched funding across the year.
Tax free childcare available. Universal Credit Childcare funding.
Unfunded / private fees are £8/hr or £72 a day for under 5s.
Fees are all inclusive.
