About Us
We are a social enterprise nursery and any profits we generate are used to support projects within the local deaf community. We currently have 3 rooms (baby room, 2-3 room and 3-5 room). Our rooms are large and spacious.
Our programme is based on nurturing and supporting children to reach their full potential across all areas of development and our staff team are both caring and committed. They have the energy and passion to support our children in all that they do. We currently have qualified childcare staff and a qualified SEN Lead as part of our team and the nursery is a base for students from Stranmillis college.
Our activities follow a weekly theme and support development in a fun way that is appropriate to the age and stage of development for each child. We value the relationship with parents and most children stay with us until they reach school age. We operate an open door policy for parents and pride ourselves on our open and friendly relationships with families.
We have a small amount of outdoor space which we love to use but we also use the adjacent park regularly and have trips and walks to ensure children have the best opportunities to grow and develop and to ensure the day is closer to their normal home life which helps to settle them and give them confidence.
Nutrition is also important to us and we have an onsite cook who makes all our food fresh and we have experience in accommodating allergies and food intolerances. We provide as standard breakfast, morning snack, lunch, dessert and an afternoon snack. We can of course accommodate the safe storage of expressed breast milk.
We also use the Famly app, pictures, updates and messages can be sent directly to you as a parent to keep you informed of all of the things that your child is doing throughout the day. Many new parents have said that this offers them reassurance especially in the settling in period and also enables them to share their child's day.
The cost of a half day placement for 25/26 is £42.50 and the cost of a full day placement is £55
