Hello! I’m Rachel from Bright Beginnings, a registered childminder based in Leek
I provide a safe, nurturing, and home-from-home environment where children are supported to learn, play, and grow with confidence.
Inside, we have a bright and inviting dedicated playroom full of exciting resources to support early development.
Outside, children have access to a large garden with a mud kitchen, lookout tower, and space to explore, run, and imagine!
I’m passionate about outdoor learning and offer plenty of opportunities for nature-based play — from collecting leaves and bugs to exploring textures, weather, and natural materials. Every day brings something new to discover!

My Experience
I love working with children and have experience teaching swimming to little ones of all ages—from babies to older kids—in both one-to-one and group sessions including SEN classes and in class support. I’ve run fun and engaging classes through schools, private lessons, and holiday clubs. I also trained as a teaching assistant, mainly in reception and yr1.
