My Requirements

We’re looking for a couple of friendly, reliable and flexible babysitters to become our go-to people for weekday evening support.

The main help we need is collecting our 3 year old and 5 year old from their respective childcare/school settings, bringing them home and getting them settled for the evening. This would usually include preparing a simple dinner and, ideally, helping our 5 year old with a little reading homework too.

As the role involves collecting both children, a full clean driving licence and your own car are essential. All travel would be within Binfield/Warfield.

This is very much ad hoc rather than a fixed weekly commitment. The days will vary depending on my husband’s travel schedule and, occasionally, we may have less than a week’s notice. We completely appreciate that one person may not always be available, so we’re hoping to find a couple of lovely, trusted babysitters we can call on.

Hours would usually be 5:30–7:30pm on weekdays, although we may occasionally need a 4:30pm start on Fridays. We’d also love to have the option of a weekend afternoon/evening or overnight care once in a blue moon, but this would always be arranged well in advance.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who loves being with young children - someone who is happy to get involved in play, imagination and creativity, but can also bring a bit of calm and order back to proceedings before bedtime!
