Hi! I'm Jen, a fully registered childminder for school holidays/weekends only - based in Brickhill, Bedford.
I offer flexible hours dependant on availability – evenings, and weekends available. I also offer pick ups and drop off during to my rural location.
I offer childcare with a difference. I specialise in taking children on day trips which are all included in the daily rate.

My Experience
Mum of four children living in the safe rural area of Woodlands Park, Brickhill. Employed in a busy school office, term time only. Both myself and my husband are DBS checked.
I have four children aged 16, 15, 7 and 2 and worked as a nursery nurse for a number of years.
Offer childminding during school holidays, bank holidays and weekends ONLY.

Currently studying a degree in Psychology and Counselling with Open University

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£65 day rate (up to 9 hours)
£7.50 any additional hours

Jen has had an amazing impact on my son's development. Since attending Bedford Holiday Club, he has become much more confident, developed strong social skills, improved his speech and communication, and made great progress with his motor skills through the engaging child development activities and exciting outings. I am incredibly grateful for Jen's dedication, care, and the nurturing environment she provides, which has helped my son thrive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I met Jen when i started a new job that required me to work on Saturdays. Until then, my 6y old little boy was only in the care of myself and his dad. we never really liked the idea or had confidence to leave our son with someone else especially someone we didn't know. Jen was local to my area, a teacher and had her own children. this is what gave me initial courage to talk to her. when we visited her for the first time, i discovered the kindest and most loving lady with her children in they home that feels full of love, togetherness and care for each other- including their pets. i felt confidence honestly when i met them. with the weeks passing i realised that Jen is gifted with a natural talent, love and resilience to care for children. i feel re-assured when my son is with her. she plans very carefuly and appropriately activities for children based on what they enjoy, she is amazing at helping them gain confidence and build relationships, she is a great communicator with me as a parent. i could not ask for more and i feel fortunate that my son has access to the care she provides and to all the beautiful adventures that she organises for the children. Jen came to us in a challenging time, initially to give us respite once a month but when I took ill before Christmas she just stepped up to help. My grandchildren adore her and love going to spend time with Jen and her family. Jen has a gentle quietness approach with our grandchildren with clear boundaries on behaviour that they needed and she has worked with us which has significantly impacted on our grandchildren's behaviour. I don't know where we would be without her, shes just amazing!

Jen is a brilliant childminder. My little one absolutely loves going to Bedford Holiday Club. Her home is a safe and welcoming environment with plenty of activities for the children to do. Her days out are packed full of fun and learning. Highly recommended!
