About Me
At Tiny Tigers we care for children starting from 9 months old and up to their 3rd birthday and are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
We are a small setting providing a highly personalized experience with a 1:4 staff-to-child ratio, two dedicated staff members, and a maximum of six early years children up to age 3.
We are consent-based and involve children in decisions, seek their consent whenever possible, and teach them the value of giving and respecting consent. We believe in fostering an environment where every voice is heard and valued.
Our setting is at The Convent, Beeches Green which has a large playroom, a seperate sleep room and it's own bathroom with climbing frame, softplay and loads of resources to keep your child engaged, happy and learning. We also have a large shady garden with a mud kitchen, play house, swings, slides, a tree for climbing.
We are a minimum of 7.5hrs a day, two days a week. We take funding and private rates are £7 an hour. There is a voluntary £5 a day consumables fee as I provide snacks, nappies (and we dispose of dirty nappies) , activity consumables (sand, play dough, paint etc) and charges for outings.
My Experience
I’m a mother of three—a pair of teenagers and a lively 3-year-old daughter who adores music, dancing and playing games with children of all ages. My professional background includes a degree in Theatrical Makeup and running my own face painting and children’s entertainment business. I’ve also worked with young adults with learning disabilities and, more recently, as a childminding assistant in a setting that embraced a natural, gentle, and respectful approach to childcare. These values are at the heart of my own childminding practice.

My Fees

We’ve been incredibly lucky to have Karina & Ervin looking after our child. From the very beginning, she created a warm, safe, and nurturing environment that helped our little one feel comfortable and happy. Her communication is excellent – we always feel informed about our child’s day, activities, and progress.
They go above and beyond with creative play, outdoor time, and learning activities that are both fun and educational. Our child has developed so much socially and emotionally under her care. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in the way she interacts with the children.

Karina has cared for my son in the past year and has been integral to the setting. She is incredibly kind and caring and I’m always at ease leaving knowing he will be well taken care of. Karina practices aware parenting and is child-led in her approach which creates a calm and joyful environment. All of the children find Karina warm and fun. I’d recommended her to other parents.

Karina has looked after my daughter for many years. Karina is kind, caring and patient. My daughter loves spending time with Karina. As a parent leaving your child can be daunting but Karina makes you feel at ease. I feel Karina has an excellent understanding around child development.
