My Summary

My Experience

I have over 20 years experience in early years having worked in a Preschool, primary school and two years in a private nursery.
I have lots of experience with children with SEN and children with autism.
I am a Mum of two young men and being their Mum has been the best years of my life watching them grow. I am more than proud of the young men they have grown into.
Over the years I worked closely with children and parents and made some lovely relationships particularly with children I have been a key worker for.
Babysitting is always very different with every family and I have always worked with each parents routine and keep in touch during my time spent looking after children.
I am first aid trained up to date with safeguarding and have attended many training courses over the years, speech and language, play-work, behaviour and many craft days.
I like to sing tell stories and I am a dab hand at making playdoh and love to introduce natural resources into messy play.
During 2020 throughout the pandemic I worked with many children who were suffering with anxiety particularly separation anxiety due to being at home so much with their parents, myself and my colleague we’re fortunate enough to work with an amazing wellbeing practitioner who shared some great knowledge of how to help children overcome their fears.
I still to this day use these techniques.
I am confident at preparing and cooking healthy meals from scratch.
Working with children has always been easy for me as I find their energy magnetic and I love getting to know their individual personalities as well as watching them develop their life skills.

My Qualifications

Level 3 childcare learning and development
Teaching assistant level 2
GCSE,s ENG MATHS HOME ECONOMICS.

My Availability

Mon- Thursday 8-6
Weekend babysitting long days, late evenings, overnights and last minute arrangements.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
