My Requirements

Looking for an experienced and loving childminder in SE18, Plumstead- for our 1.5yr old daughter, with attachment difficulties and sensory sensitivities. Fussy eater due to previous significant swallowing difficulties, still experiencing choking but much more sporadic- has laryngomalacia. E also struggles with car trips due to previous traumatic experiences. Currently potty training.

It's important, the child wouldn't be forced to eat what she isn't happy to eat or left screaming when overstimulated, as I have witnessed some childminder do, which was petrifying.

Our daughter can communicate her needs very clearly (over 130 words) at 18 months old. E is at the stage of climbing everything and everywhere. She is very agile, creative and happy but also very aware of strangers, so transition period needs to be prolonged before committing to full hours.
We are looking to start the setting between September 26 and January 27.

E is currently under the EYs Inclusion Team at the Greenwich council, awaiting a Community Paediatrician assessment as well as under ENT, dietician and an OT.
She is just starting to play with other children but finds it tricky and overstimulating.
