Hi I'm Nina, I'm a busy single mum with three lovely boys aged 15, 13 and 8. I work as a family support worker in and around Exeter, and am studying for an MSc in Psychology. Our household is pretty busy Monday to Friday, and being a single parent I often wish for a second pair of hands to help! One of my children and I have a condition that causes fatigue and pain, so we need to pace ourselves well.
My Requirements
I'm looking for a confident and friendly person to help me out 3-4 days a week, ideally in the after-school window 3 - 6ish. I need help keeping on top of the usual household jobs like laundry and hoovering, cooking healthy dinners for my kids, getting children to afterschool activities or picking them up from clubs, helping them with homework or doing fun things like taking my youngest to the park when the sun is shining or the older boys to the local bouldering place to blow off steam. I have a disability, which means I use a wheelchair part-time. I'm looking for someone excellent at picking up a bit of the mental load (planning meals, staying on top of calendars) so the home ticks over as the fun and busy place it is.
