Welcome to The Cuddlebug Club: Where Every Day is an Adventure! ?
Hello! I’m Leigh, a loving mother of two (ages 7 & 8) and a dedicated Childminder based in Upper Arncott. My setting is built on three simple pillars: Nurture, Love, and Creativity. My 2 girls and my husband are very much involved with the children that come to The Cuddlebug Club, so your child will be an extended part of our family in no time.
I believe that a child’s early years should be filled with fresh air, community connection, and plenty of "Cuddlebug" warmth. We aren't a "four walls" setting; we are out and about almost every day! Whether we are visiting our "Grand-friends" at the local care home on Mondays, heading to Bicester Village Park, or getting "lost" in our favorite local woods to visit the cows, I ensure your child experiences the world firsthand.
Our home is shared with Milo, our friendly Springer Spaniel. He is a gentle soul who loves a sofa cuddle but also has his own private "den" under the stairs when he (or the children!) need a quiet moment.
My Experience
Though I bring the energy of a newer setting, I am deeply committed to professional excellence and "Professional Curiosity." I have a background in swimming teaching and office management, which means I pair a fun, active approach with highly organized developmental tracking.
I am particularly passionate about Speech and Language and Physical Literacy. I regularly attend SEND (Special Educational Needs) meetings and Communication Updates to ensure I can support every child’s unique "wiring." I don't just "watch" your child; I use the latest 2025/2026 EYFS framework to celebrate their milestones through detailed progress checks and creative "Wow" moments.
From baking in the kitchen to exploring farm trips and soft play, I adapt our days to the children's interests rather than a rigid clock.

My Availability
I am currently looking for a Full-Time Cuddlebug to join our adventures!
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday)
Funding: I am fully registered to accept 15 and 30-hour funding for all eligible ages.
Meals: I can provide nutritious, home-cooked meals for £3.50 per day, or I am equally happy for parents to provide a packed lunch.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
