About Me
I am the founder of KH Primary Tuition and offer 1 to 1 face to face and/or online primary tutoring services for reading, writing, maths and mentoring. Tutoring can be offered for all students 4 to 15 years and can be subject specific or focus on key skills needed. I can also offer mentoring that can help build confidence, self-esteem or prepare students for transitions between year groups or to secondary school. I am also able to prepare pupils for end of key stage 2 assessments, functional skills and key skills for GCSEs. Each tuition package is tailored to the needs of each student and I can cater for pupils without a school place, needing alternate provision and/or with SEND.
My Experience
I am an experienced primary school teacher with 14+ years service in the classroom, as a teacher and a leader. I graduated from university in 2012, after studying for four years, with a BEd Hons Primary Education degree and qualified teacher status. Since then, I have continued to enhance my teaching expertise as an accredited maths specialist teacher for the National Centre of Teaching Excellence in Maths as well as completing masters for mathematics educational practice.
During the time spent in the primary school sector, I have worked with pupils from EYFS to Year 6, successfully preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 2 assessments and transition to secondary school.
Currently, I provide education to students who require alternate provision due to SEND or SEMH and work with pupils from pre-school (aged 3) to GCSEs (aged 15).

*Teaching for Mastery Teacher and Professional Development Lead accreditation

*Relevant and up to date safeguarding and prevent training including allergy training in line with Benedict's Law, 2026
My Availability
Availability will change in the holidays to allow for more sessions, get in touch for more information.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
From £35 per hour base rate and 45p for travel expenses that exceed 6 miles of NN11. The hourly rate will depend on varying factors such as what the tuition involves and the preparation time needed to ensure a full tailored package.
