My Experience

I have over 11 years of experience as a private tutor, specialising in secondary-level maths and science including physics, chemistry, and calculus. I have worked with students with additional learning needs such as ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, adapting my methods to ensure every student can access and engage with the material. Alongside tutoring, my background includes hands-on scientific research across data analysis, field work, and laboratory science — experience I draw on to bring real-world context to the subjects I teach.

My Qualifications

I hold a BSc in Ecology from Concordia University and an MSc in Aquatic Ecology from the University of Quebec in Montreal, where both degrees were completed with distinction. I am currently completing a PhD in Biological Sciences at Queen's University Belfast, funded by the QUADRAT Doctoral Training Partnership Scholarship. This strong scientific foundation allows me to give students a deeper, more applied understanding of the subjects they are studying.
