I have extensive experience working in caring and responsible roles, where the safety, wellbeing and individual needs of others are my priority. As a registered paramedic, I have developed excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, alongside the ability to remain calm and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

My clinical background has provided me with comprehensive knowledge of first aid, safeguarding, risk assessment and emergency management. I have completed paediatric life support training and have the clinical knowledge and practical skills to recognise and respond to medical emergencies involving children. My experience as a paramedic means I am confident managing time-critical situations, recognising signs of deterioration and providing appropriate emergency care when required. I would bring an additional level of reassurance to a family, knowing that I have the professional training and experience to respond calmly and effectively should a medical emergency arise.

Alongside my clinical expertise, I am compassionate, patient, reliable and highly organised. I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to develop. I recognise the importance of routines, boundaries, emotional wellbeing and age-appropriate activities, as well as maintaining clear communication with parents to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
