Hello, my name is Alix I am 31 and live with my husband James and our 3 year old daughter Mila. I am a passionate childminder who strives to create a warm, welcoming, fun and safe home from home environment. In my setting I ensure all children feel valued, relaxed, confident and most importantly HAPPY. Offering a range of meaningful experiences to suit your child's interests both indoors and out, where we will grow, learn and explore together. A child's early years experiences will ultimately shape them as a person so here I take great pride in providing and creating a fun playful space, where they will develop great social skills, creativity, cognitive development and essential skills to ready them for the future. My Experience
I used to work for The Echo Newspaper which I loved but I then realised my passion for childcare. I have had the privilege of being a live in Nanny for a new born baby for 1 year which I truly enjoyed. We had our Daughter Mila where I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mum, this experience was the best years of my life which then lead me to my path of becoming a childminder.

Alix is absolutely incredible with my 2 children. She has Bradley 4 days a week all day and she blows me away every day with the variety of activities, snacks and outings that she offers. My daughter goes to Alix before and after school and has grown a lovely relationship with Alix, her husband and daughter. Both my children love her and her family and are always so excited to go.
Alix has become more than just a ‘childminder’ she’s become a friend.
We couldn’t ask for anyone better to keep our children safe, cared for and happy.
We get regular updates throughout the day with pictures of what our children are up to, what they’ve eaten and toileting.

Alix has had my daughter from 10 months old, she is now 16months and she seems to learn new things every day.
Ava is very well cared for, she comes home clean and happy.
Dare I say she prefers going to alix over family members ha!
Alix house is very clean and has a large variety of toys and things for Ava to do.
Ava loves animals such as sharks, ducks and cats, Alix always makes an effort to make fun things to do around Ava likes. Ava also loves books and Alix makes a conscious effort to take her to the library.
Overall I am absolutely blessed to have found Alix and I am so grateful that when I’m at work I know she is safe and very well cared for.

So happy we’ve found Alix! She looks after my twins and they love going there. Alix amazes me every week with how many wonderful activities she manages to fit into the day! She makes wonderfully varied meals and takes the kids out for trips regularly.
I can’t recommend Alix enough!
