Hello, I am a passionate and fully qualified childminder based in Thornbury. Recently moving to the area with my six-year-old son, I understand the importance of finding the right childcare that feels like a home away from home.
I provide a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun through a mix of play-based activities, structured learning, and outdoor adventures. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring that every child in my care receives the support they need to develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
My Experience
I have 15 years of experience in childcare, including working both in the UK and overseas. This has given me a broad understanding of different childcare practices, cultural approaches to early education, and diverse family needs. My international experience has enhanced my adaptability, communication skills, and ability to create inclusive, nurturing environments where children feel supported and encouraged to thrive. Working in various settings has strengthened my ability to tailor learning experiences to individual children, ensuring they receive high-quality care and education that fosters their development and well-being.
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies – Provides a strong academic foundation in child development, education theories, and best practices for early years care.
CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce – Equips me with essential practical skills to deliver high-quality childcare and support children's learning and well-being.
My Availability
I am available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Wednesday from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM.
