Hello! ? I’m a friendly, qualified childminder based in Chipping Sodbury, with one full-time space available from September 2026.
Opening hours:
Monday–Wednesday: 7:30am–5:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm
I recently moved to the area with my seven-year-old son, so I understand how important it is to find childcare that feels safe, welcoming, and like a home away from home.
I provide a warm, nurturing home environment where children can play, learn, explore, and enjoy plenty of outdoor adventures. I follow the EYFS framework to support every child’s individual development while making sure their days are filled with fun, creativity, and opportunities to learn through play at their own pace.

My Experience
I have 15 years of childcare experience, both in the UK and overseas, which has helped me understand and support children from many different backgrounds. I’m adaptable, caring, and love creating activities that bring out each child’s confidence and personality
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies – Provides a strong academic foundation in child development, education theories, and best practices for early years care.
CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce – Equips me with essential practical skills to deliver high-quality childcare and support children's learning and well-being.
My Availability
I am available on Monday to Wednesday 7:30Am- 5PM and Thursday 7:30AM
to 4:30PM

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour

I’d highly recommend using Charlene as a childminder. She was absolutely great with my daughter. Having only been with me before, I was surprised at how quickly she formed a bond with Charlene. She always came home talking about how great her day was and even now she has started school, she still refers to Charlene as her childminder and talks about her. Charlene is so friendly and always kept me up to date with what they were doing and sent pictures every day which was lovely to see how much fun my daughter was having.
