About Me
Hello!
We are Ellamae and Danny, Mum and Dad to our little girl Rommily (and sprollie dog Bud). Me and Danny met in 2019 whilst working on a show in Birmingham. We got married in 2023 and had a beautiful surprise pregnancy shortly after! We love music, the pub, theatre, films and the countryside! Me and my husband are creatives and self employed. I am an actor/singer/photographer and my husband works in central London, he is an actor and musician. Our work schedules can change weekly, therefore we are fairly flexible on dates/times for childcare, there may be occasional needs to extend days/times to fit with our work schedule. Ideally, we would love a minimum of 2 days, but happy for this to be split to half days/full days.
Rommy is 15 months old and is nothing short of wonderful. She is very inquisitive, confident and happy. Rommy loves being involved with what we are doing but equally loves her own space to. We take her outside every day, whether it's on a dog walk to the country park, rhyme time class or seeing friends/family. Because of our creative household we have found that Rommy loves music and nosier toys, she loves our dog Bud, however he is slightly less impressed to have a little sister and will often do his own thing. But we have always encouraged Rommy to be gentle with him.
My Requirements
We would love Rommy to play, socialise and to continue flourishing! She has 1 nap a day, a large afternoon nap. Her nap is quite embedded in her routine and we would love for this to continue.
Rommy has 3 home cooked meals a day, and 2 snacks snacks. She is a BIG fan of her fruit, and currently eats everything. She will eat what we eat ourselves, and is always happy to try new things. (We cook all our food from scratch, we try to stay away from processed/packaged baby food)
Rommy is an active baby, loves exploring and playing. She was an early walker and loves walking around.
We aren't fully against screens for her, but we do minimise it when possible. We often have the Radio on in the background. Rommy loves her music and nursery rhymes! She is wildly obsessed with phones even though we do not encourage this! We do not allow her to watch anything on phones - she uses them to ring family members who live far away.
